Hotel NuVe Urbane

- room looked very nice, clean and well lit - complimentary minibar (cookies, tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, ice tea, cola, sprite) - bathroom items - shower AND bathtub - how the building was re-done from an old colonial building (keeping the structure, but adapting it to the modern days and necessities) - there is a mini-pool & outside lounge area

Overall, this was a comfortable stay. I booked this accommodation on very short notice due to sudden changes in my schedule, but was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfulness of the hotel. Room was not big (which was to be expected, granted its price point), but it had everything I needed and the layout was intuitive. I also appreciated the little perks such as local snacks at the lobby, postcards detailing how to speak "singlish", and posters explaining the hotel's heritage (it's a restored colonial building)! While I didn't indulge in any of the snacks, I imagine that this would be quite a unique stay for tourists.

It was compact yet had everything needed. I loved the way my room was done up.

Very comfy space and a bit of walk from Lavender station if you’re carrying heavy luggages (not a very flat walk) but overall good location. Coffee machine isn’t working at first but they managed to replace it immediately. The swimming pool is located on the fifth floor and lucky enough my room is also on the fifth floor so it’s super easy for me to access.

Location was good esp for veg indian travellers as its closer to many indian restaurants. Rooms were clean. they also did provide early checkin. Free wifi was good. if you are looking for rooms with balcony go for the suite rooms, Even the non balcony rooms had windows that you can slide open. I liked the ease of entering and exiting the hotel as it was small 3-4 storied building unlike the 20 floor hotels which take up time to just exit & catch a taxi/MRT. Its 10 mins walk to the nearest lavender MRT.
